International competitors participate in Aruba’s longest road race, in a course that traverses the length of the island from San Nicolas to Oranjestad. The race begins at 6:30 a.m. Registration starts on February 1

Adults and children celebrate annually the birthday of Sinterklaas
(Saint Nicolas) accompanied by his "Zwarte Pieten" (helpers) after his traditional arrival a few weeks earlier, at the Paardenbaai Harbor in Oranjestad and in time to greet the children of Aruba and reward them with gifts for their good behavior during the year. Many stores organize special events with Sinterklaas and his helpers as guests of honor.
