Plum Island Resort is located just off the coast of Belize,
on a 16 acre cay. It is one of the three cays of the Coco
Plum Range. It is the only facility in the range and is
just eight miles off the coast of the culturally-rich,
southern coastal town of Dangriga. Coco Plum is a quick
10-minute boat ride from Belizes amazing Barrier
Reef where you can enjoy fabulous snorkeling and diving
and it is only a 15-minute boat ride from the mainland,
giving guests the option to participate in mainland adventure
tours.

Plum Island Resort is a pristine, romantic sixteen acre
private island resort located off the coast of Southern
Belize with ten cabanas offering a completely unique island
experience. Guests choose from a variety of island activities
including diving, swimming, snorkeling, fishing, kayaking.
Additionally, our inclusive packages incorporate trips
to the mainland to visit a Mayan ruin, hikes in the rainforest,
hike and tours to a wildlife sanctuary. |

diving (a number of courses are also offered), snorkeling,
fly fishing, and birding on our Belizean island! Also
enjoy mainland Mayan Ruins tours, cave tubing, repelling

Coco Plum we serve a variety of Belizean and American-style
dishes. Breakfast includes coffee or tea, fresh juice,
fresh tropical fruits as well as eggs, bacon, sausage,
fried jacks, toast, and Johnny cakes. Lunches are typically
light and include dishes such as fish hoagies, BLT sandwiches
on homemade bread, or hudut, a delicious, local Garifuna
soup of fish fillets in coconut milk. Dinners include
fish balls in red sauce with spaghetti, or of course a
traditional Belizean meal of stewed chicken, rice and
beans cooked in coconut milk, potato salad, and plantain
slices. If you have any food allergies or food preferences
please let us know in advance so that our cook will be
prepared and our island kitchen well stocked. |

Directions

| Most
guests opt to fly on a local carrier from the Philip Goldson
International Airport (BZE) in Belize City to Dangriga.
The cost of this local flight is NOT included in the package
rate for the All Inclusive, the No Frills, or the Dive
packages. It is included in the Honeymoon/Lovers' Getaway
and the Fishing packages. We will set up this local Belizean
flight for you, no matter which package you choose. At
the Dangriga airport, a Coco Plum staff member from will
greet you and drive your party to our boat. Then, it is
only a 15-minute boat ride to Coco Plum Island Resort,
your small, private island getaway. |
