staffed, spacious 5 bedroom villa with panoramic
ocean and mountain views. Located in Playa Cofresi,
a  charming seaside community
less than 3 miles west of the historic city
of Puerto Plata, on the north coast of the Dominican
Republic.
Facilities
If you love panoramic ocean and mountain views,
you'll love Villa Vista del Mar, a spacious
five-bedroom villa perched on a gentle sloping
hill, just 125 yards from the ocean. The three
front porches and the spacious terrace are great
for watching the sun rise over the ocean, or
for enjoying cocktails under the starry skies.
The villa is ideally designed for large groups,
with plenty of room for the gang to spread out.
Rocking chairs, chaise lounges and chairs offer
opportunities for relaxing in the sun or shade,
while a hammock on the second floor terrace
is popular for a peaceful nap. A first floor
card room offers a place to play games or do
picture puzzles, when not being used for cozy
dining. The formal dining room seats ten, as
does the living room. The living room features
a gallery of original paintings.
Accommodations
 The villa sleeps 15
with considerable flexibility and comfort. There
are two oceanfront bedroom suites with sitting
areas, private bath and lounging terrace or
balcony. One suite has a queen bed, the other
a queen and twin bed. A third ocean front bedroom
has a queen bed and is next to a full bath.
An L shaped dormitory that sleeps 6 comfortably
has two twin beds and two bunk beds. It appeals
to kids of all ages with its colorful décor.
A mountain-view bedroom has two twin beds. A
folding cot is also available and beds can be
moved to suit guests needs. The villa has four
full baths on the second floor and a powder
room in the first floor. There is also a full
bath in the maid’s room.
Activities
Jeep Safari's Catamaran Tours, Whitewater Rafting,
Jarabacoa Mountain Tour, Fishing, Scuba Diving,
Horseback  Riding, Beaches, Golf,
Museums, Casinos, Shopping and much more can
be enjoyed close by. Ocean World Marine Park,
the Caribbean’s largest and newest Marine aquatic
park located right in Playa Cofresi.
Dining
Dining out in and around Playa Cofresi is a
treat because the ambiance is so pleasant, the
food is good and the prices are reasonable.
No matter where you go, dress is ALWAYS casual
so just wear your jeans, shorts and sandals
or other comfortable attire.
